New Dimension Family Inn is located at 4994 US HWY 301 in Elm City, NC. 27822 “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17 Over the years, the homeless issue has become a growing epidemic among all age groups. The most vulnerable group are seniors aged 65 years and older in the U.S. and this issue continually increases among older people; aged 50-60 years is also increasing. Not all seniors have enough income and money saved to pay for safe housing and afford other necessities such as food, utilities, and medication. Recently we have seen married couples with children, with a dual income seeking shelter. The mission of New Dimension is to create affordable housing alternatives for low-income individuals and families who cannot obtain traditional housing with an emphasis on community development by providing educational programs, job training skills, budgeting, and financial planning services. |
